The Butcher Nears the Record. The River Wins by a Whisper.
Five weeks into a fourteen-week campaign, the Realm has begun to reveal its shape. Parmesan Paladins delivered the second-highest weekly score in league history. Mystic River Mayehem waited until the final plays of Monday night overtime to survive by a quarter point. DolosDawgz and The Diamond Horde each claimed a fourth straight victory, leaving one banner alone atop each division. Nine games remain, but the first third of the season has given the Realm more than opening promises to judge.
The Butcher Nears the Record
Parmesan Paladins 241.14, Outworld Order 136.28.
A week after falling to North Medford Nightmare with 100.48, Parmesan answered with an eruption. Jahmyr Gibbs supplied 40.20, Christian Watson 32.30, and Parker Washington 30.40. Mike Evans added 26.30, Trevor Lawrence 25.34, and Derrick Henry 25.30. Nine of the ten starters reached double figures. This was a whole House bringing its strength to the field.
The 104.86-point margin made this the week’s most decisive victory. More enduring is the place it earns in the archive: 241.14 stands second among all recorded LOTL weekly scores, including the postseason. Only Chelsea Chupacabras, the franchise now known as The Reckoning, has scored more: 251.16 in Week 12 of 2024. Parmesan finished 10.02 short of that mark and surpassed its own franchise high of 230.78, set as Baker’s Dough Boys in Week 15 of 2025.
Outworld received 29.48 from Jordan Love and 22.30 from Sam LaPorta, but no plausible reply emerged against that barrage. Consecutive opponents have now scored 195.70 and 241.14. Outworld falls to 2–3 with a Realm-high 891.24 points against; Parmesan rises to 3–2 and leads Baron in points for with 844.26. The defending Baron Division champion has made its loudest claim yet.
The River Wins by a Whisper
Mystic River Mayehem 152.64, Stroud of Darkness 152.38.
Monday night carried the reigning Crown holder to the edge of defeat, then delivered a miracle on the final plays of overtime. Mayehem prevailed by 0.26. A contest that had seemed capable of turning on one final contribution did exactly that, leaving the River standing and Stroud with the week’s cruelest loss.
Drake Maye’s 48.86 was the highest individual score among Week 5 starters. Jacoby Brissett contributed 30.18 and James Cook 27.30. Stroud answered with Bucky Irving’s 34.70, Brock Bowers’s 27.00, Trey McBride’s 26.10, C.J. Stroud’s 24.14, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 23.00. Five strong contributions still left the scoring leader a fraction short.
Both Houses are now 3–2. Mayehem has won two straight; Stroud has lost two after its 3–0 opening. The Darkness still leads the Realm with 872.24 points for, but Dolos now holds the Imperial lead outright. Production remains a strength. Turning it back into victories is the next demand. For Mayehem, the Crown Inscribed endure another test, with a finish worthy of their title.
One Lady Above Them All
DolosDawgz 175.72, Jake 138.52.
Ending Stroud’s unbeaten start opened the door. Dolos walked through it with another commanding performance. Isaiah Likely scored 37.90, Jaylen Warren added 36.80, and newly acquired Aaron Jones supplied 22.20. Jones’s arrival from Nightmare for a 2027 third-round pick delivered an immediate contribution to a winning lineup.
Jake got 33.40 from Joe Burrow, 18.80 from Drake London, and 18.60 from Rhamondre Stevenson, but Dolos held a 37.20-point advantage at the finish. Four straight wins have lifted her to 4–1 and sole possession of Imperial. Her last two scores, 179.68 and 175.72, show that the Week 4 upset was followed by another substantial performance. Jake slips to 2–3 after its two-game recovery.
Four Victories Beneath the Banner
The Diamond Horde 154.44, Flaming Dragon 122.54.
The Horde’s winning march continued against last week’s high scorer and the 2024 Baron Division champion. Malik Nabers scored 29.10, newly acquired Aaron Rodgers 28.20, and Garrett Wilson 23.40. Diamond won by 31.90, a welcome measure of space after the narrow escapes of the previous two weeks.
Flaming’s Jared Goff supplied 35.14 and Tyler Warren added 25.10, but the Pyre could not repeat its Week 4 eruption. Diamond reaches 4–1 after four consecutive victories and remains alone atop Baron. Flaming falls to 2–3. “Pressure Creates Us” has suited the Horde’s close finishes; this week, the banner held with room to spare.
The Wounded March On
Forward Progress 123.90, The Reckoning 77.52.
An injury-stricken Forward Progress found enough to end its three-game losing streak. Josh Allen scored 33.50, George Pickens 28.00, and Jameson Williams 18.70. Forward won by 46.38 and returns to 2–3, keeping contact with the Imperial pursuit.
Asked what he would say to those in the Realm who were beginning to count Forward Progress out, Lord Craig offered a brief response:
“Suck my ass.”
The wounded House appears to have retained its fighting spirit.
The Reckoning received 33.32 from Matthew Stafford and 15.00 from Bhayshul Tuten, but its other eight starters combined for just 29.20. A fourth straight defeat leaves it 1–4. The franchise that owns the Realm’s 251.16 scoring record managed 77.52 in the week Parmesan nearly reached its historic summit. The archive offers a reminder of its ceiling; the present demands a response.
The Rams Raise the Tide
Tsuenami Mami 145.06, North Medford Nightmare 69.16.
After last week’s 1.18-point heartbreak against Diamond, Tsuenami returned with a convincing victory. Puka Nacua scored 38.10, Davante Adams 22.10, and Kyren Williams 19.80: exactly 80.00 from her Rams trio. Those three alone exceeded Nightmare’s entire lineup by 10.84. Brock Purdy added 20.16 as Tsuenami won by 75.90 and moved to 3–2.
Nightmare’s 69.16 was the lowest score in the Realm this week. Jalon Daniels led with 17.26, followed by Ryan Flournoy’s 12.00. A week after upsetting Parmesan, NMM falls to 1–4. The bounceback belonged to Tsuenami; the SkullRift Peaks must look for another answer.
The Realm Takes Shape
Five of fourteen regular-season games are complete, roughly thirty-six percent of the road to the playoff gates. There is enough evidence to identify patterns, with nine games still capable of changing the picture. Dolos and Diamond lead their divisions at 4–1, each having recovered from an opening defeat with four straight wins. Both have just a one-game cushion over two pursuers.
In Imperial, Stroud and Mayehem stand at 3–2. Stroud’s 872.24 points lead the Realm, while Mayehem’s two straight wins have brought the reigning Crown holder level on record. Jake and Forward remain within reach at 2–3. The Reckoning’s 1–4 start creates urgency, with no basis yet to close its postseason gates.
In Baron, Parmesan and Tsuenami are 3–2 behind Diamond. Parmesan’s 844.26 points lead the division and rank second in the Realm. Outworld and Flaming are 2–3, with Outworld facing the league’s highest points against. Nightmare is 1–4. These records describe the race today; none awards a division title or a playoff berth.
The first bye-week test has also given last week’s warning substance. Forward won through a depleted lineup, while two Houses finished below 80.00. Those low totals are evidence of difficult weeks, without assigning every shortfall to injuries or absences. The next stretch will demand usable depth, timely contributions, and the ability to survive when the preferred lineup cannot take the field.

Commissioner’s Note: The OUT Tax
Tsuenami Mami and The Reckoning each started a player designated OUT in Week 5. The commissioner has assessed each House a $10 FAAB fine under the bylaws’ valid-lineup requirements. That is $10 from each House’s waiver budget, not a cash fine.
Tsuenami won the battle, but the lineup inspector still found something to collect. Eighty points from three Rams may have carried the day; they did not purchase diplomatic immunity. The Reckoning, meanwhile, leaves the field with a fourth straight defeat and a second unpleasant entry on the week’s accounting sheet.
The ruling is clear. Before the next kickoff, inspect the lineup. The bye weeks already demand depth; the commissioner now reminds the Realm that they also demand attention.
The Next Page
The season has moved beyond its opening impressions. One House has approached the scoring record, another has survived by a whisper, and two have carved out solitary division leads. The full halfway reckoning awaits Week 7. For now, the question is what these first five games have revealed, and which Houses can carry their strengths through the nine that remain.
The bye weeks will continue to test the roster beyond its brightest names. A House must find answers while its usual starters rest if it intends to reach the playoff contests. The leaders must sustain their pace; the pursuers must convert their strengths into wins; those at 1–4 need a response before the ground grows harder to recover. The gates remain open. The road to them has become clearer.
