The Halfway Council had barely dismissed its witnesses when the Realm returned with new evidence.
Diamond’s six-game march ended at the CinderHeart. Jake claimed the week’s highest score by a margin small enough to fit beneath a signet ring. Flaming Dragon followed victory over Stroud with victory over the reigning Crown holder. And the Imperial, having conceded nine of the first twelve crossover battles, finally answered with four victories of its own.
Baron still holds the three-week advantage, 11–7. But Week 8 belonged to the Imperial, 4–2, and six regular-season battles remain. The strongest records have company. The struggling Houses have reasons to keep fighting. The Council’s judgments have already become arguments.

The CinderHeart Stops the March
Stroud of Darkness 184.58 — The Diamond Horde 125.96
Six consecutive victories had made Diamond the Realm’s most difficult procession to interrupt. Stroud interrupted it by 58.62 points.
Kirk Cousins supplied 35.18, Bucky Irving added 26.40, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba contributed 23.80. The familiar advantage came at tight end: Brock Bowers’s 31.70 and Trey McBride’s 23.70 combined for 55.40. Jaylen Waddle, newly acquired from The Reckoning, delivered 14.90 in his first appearance for Stroud after the exchange. The reinforcement reached the wall in time to matter.
Diamond received 20.30 from Tucker Kraft and 18.60 from Luther Burden III, but its starting quarterbacks produced just 10.46 combined. Against a House posting 184.58, that left too much ground for the rest of the army to recover.
The Horde remains the Realm’s only 6–2 House and still commands Baron. Stroud advances to 5–3, sharing the Imperial’s best record with Dolos. This was a statement about the pursuit, not a transfer of the Crown: the standings leader can be beaten, and the league’s scoring leader remains a serious threat.
Jake Claims the Highest Ground
Jake 184.96 — Parmesan Paladins 170.20
Stroud won the clash that stopped the streak. Jake won the scoring contest that nobody could schedule: 184.96, the weekly high, just 0.38 above Stroud.
Joe Burrow’s 47.08 led every starting player in the Realm. Bo Nix added 23.88, giving Jake 70.96 from the quarterback pairing, while D’Andre Swift supplied 32.30 and Jonah Coleman contributed 20.60. After 165.26 in Week 7, Jake has now raised its season best in consecutive weeks and climbed to 4–4.
Parmesan brought an army worthy of a better result. Jahmyr Gibbs scored 28.40, Braelon Allen 26.50, Trevor Lawrence 26.00, and Josh Jacobs 24.40. The Paladins’ five starting running backs combined for 105.20, yet their 170.20 was the week’s highest losing score.
At 5–3, the reigning Baron division winner remains one game behind Diamond. Jake’s second consecutive victory gives the Imperial another advancing banner. One breakthrough can be dismissed as a good afternoon. Two demand a hearing.
The Dragon Burns Through Another Contender
Flaming Dragon 179.14 — Mystic River Mayehem 142.02
Lord Paul’s reply to the midpoint debate has been delivered in victories: first Stroud, now the reigning league champion.
Tee Higgins erupted for 37.50, Tony Pollard added 31.40, and Chuba Hubbard supplied 25.80. Those three accounted for 94.70, enough force to keep Flaming moving even with quieter returns elsewhere. The Dragon reaches 5–3, level with Parmesan and one game behind Diamond.
Mayehem received 28.40 from Harold Fannin Jr., 28.06 from Drake Maye, and 21.30 from James Cook III. Mike Gesicki added 19.60. There was productive resistance, but insufficient support across the lineup to withstand Flaming’s leading trio.
The Crown Inscribed House falls to 4–4, one game behind the Imperial leaders. Its history remains secure in the Ledger. Its current campaign still requires work. Flaming, meanwhile, has made the Baron pursuit considerably hotter.
The Hounds Win With Two Silent Posts
DolosDawgz 170.56 — Outworld Order 116.60
Dolos ended a two-game slide with a 53.96-point victory—and did so with two zeros in the starting lineup.
Cam Ward delivered 31.66, Ja’Marr Chase 31.10, Michael Wilson 27.00, and Jaylen Warren 24.20. Together, those four supplied 113.96. Zay Flowers and Chris Godwin Jr. recorded no points, but the strength elsewhere carried the Hounds comfortably through the crossing.
Outworld’s quarterbacks combined for 43.90, and Matthew Golden contributed 20.90. The wider formation failed to keep pace: DK Metcalf and Keon Coleman finished at 1.40 apiece, and neither starting running back exceeded 11.40.
Dolos reaches 5–3, sharing the Imperial lead by record with Stroud. Outworld falls to 4–4. For the Hounds, this is both a forceful response and a reminder that a wide victory can coexist with vulnerable lineup spots. For Outworld, the supporting production must catch up with the quarterbacks.
Forward Finally Finds Its Stride
Forward Progress 176.96 — North Medford Nightmare 71.08
After five consecutive scores below 130, Forward delivered a season-high 176.96. The winning margin, 105.88, was the week’s largest.
Tyler Allgeier led with 35.80. Josh Allen and Geno Smith combined for 52.16, while Dalton Kincaid added 20.60, Rashee Rice 18.30, and Jameson Williams 17.00. This time, the quarterbacks had the support required to turn their production into a convincing victory.
Nightmare’s highest returns came from Caleb Williams at 16.38, Colston Loveland at 15.00, and Ryan Flournoy at 13.30. No starter reached 17. Lord Michael’s rebuilding campaign remains a project measured in more than the current table, but the immediate scoring gap was unmistakable.
Forward advances to 3–5. Nightmare falls to 2–6. Craig has supplied evidence that his House can produce much more than its recent scores suggested. Repeating it is the next task.
The Reckoning Breaks the Siege
The Reckoning 139.22 — Tsuenami Mami 108.00
Six defeats had followed The Reckoning’s opening victory. The seventh week of that siege finally brought relief.
Bhayshul Tuten scored 32.10, Patrick Mahomes added 31.84, and DJ Moore contributed 16.80. Brett’s House won 139.22–108.00, reaching 2–6 after trading Waddle for future draft capital. The transaction and the victory can coexist: acquiring resources for tomorrow does not require surrendering every battle today.
Tsuenami received 25.00 from Puka Nacua and 16.60 from DeMario Douglas, but zeros from Lamar Jackson and Evan Engram left the lineup short of the required production.
Tsuenami slips to 3–5. The Reckoning remains near the foot of the table, but the losing streak is over. Sometimes the first useful decree is simply proof that the gates still open.

Display order follows the website: wins, then points for within each division. This is not a claim about final playoff seeding or clinching.
Diamond’s lead has narrowed to one game. Flaming and Parmesan share the pursuit at 5–3. Imperial’s former three-way tie has become a two-House lead, while Jake and Mayehem sit one game behind. Jake holds a 0.02-point season scoring edge over Mayehem; that tiny difference determines their current display order, not a head-to-head victory.
Stroud leads the Realm with 1417.74 points, ahead of Flaming’s 1291.38. Yet the highest score of Week 8 belonged to Jake, and five Houses reached 170. The second half has opened with ample proof that the leading banners do not have the field to themselves.
The Playoff Horizon
Dynasty Daddy’s before Week 9 forecast draws a sharp line through the Realm. Diamond remains the strongest playoff favorite at 98%, even after its march was halted. Stroud follows at 89%, with Parmesan at 88%, Dolos at 87%, and Flaming at 86%. Those five banners hold favorable ground; none has been declared safe by this forecast.
The tension lives beneath them. Jake’s consecutive breakthroughs have carried the FrostSpire to a literal coin flip: 50%. Mayehem stands at 38%, while Outworld’s identical 4–4 record yields just 28%. Equal records do not mean equal projected paths. Forward’s eruption keeps a 22% chance alive, ahead of Tsuenami’s 12%. The Reckoning sits at 2%, and Nightmare below 1%—long odds that sharpen the stakes without sealing an elimination.

From the Exchange: FrostSpire and SkullRift
On October 29, Jake acquired Tanner McKee and Caleb Douglas from North Medford Nightmare. In return, Nightmare received Jake’s 2028 third-round pick and Jake’s 2029 second-round pick.
The exchange fits the diverging campaigns: Jake adds players while fighting at the playoff threshold, and Nightmare adds future draft capital. The current odds give that choice context; they do not establish which House will ultimately profit.

The Closing Decree
The Horde has been halted, not overthrown. The Imperial has answered, not erased the Baron’s advantage. And the Houses dismissed too quickly have begun returning evidence of their own.
Eight battles are sealed. Six remain. Let every banner prepare its next answer.
